10 months

Well, Christian is actually almost 11 months. I've let time slip by!!! I have been pretty crazy with end of school activities though so I have a little bit of an excuse! :)

Nick's brother Gary and wife Michelle came to visit us on the 11th of May and we had a great time together!

I took a half day the next day so we could have breakfast together! The evenings were filled with lots of fun times with B.J., Julie and the kids at their house playing games!

On Saturday we all went to see Alex's ballet recital! She was the best dancer out of all the little girls! Her posture was so beautiful!

All the girls (and baby) went to Puffy Muffin for lunch and then I took Samantha to the mall and we went shopping. Julie and Michelle met us at the mall and I took Alex with me to Christian's 10 month picture session across the street. I only bought the $9.99 special so I don't have any pictures to post. :(

The milestones of Christian this month:
Waving bye-bye (Grammie taught him!)
Pulling up to standing
Crawling like a maniac
Saying "Uh oh"
Eating finger foods all by himself
Giving kisses
And unfortunately, throwing tantrums!!! He's developed quite an opinion and I'm working on how to respond and train him correctly!

Daddy bought a kiddie pool a couple weeks ago and we tried it for the first time this past weekend!

Baby's New Clothes!

My new hobby is making clothes for Christian!
I took a sewing class several weeks ago and have made three outfits so far. However, only one of them is good enough to wear a second time! haha!

Here is a slideshow of the clothes!!! He sure is a cute model!!!

9 month Dr. Stats

At 9 months, Christian is 29 1/2 inches long and 19 lbs 12 oz!
Daddy and baby went to the doctor's together and she was so pleased with his development! Before the doctor came in, the nurse did all the measuring and weighing - Christian was NOT happy!!! As soon as Dr. Lohse arrived he was as bright and cheery as could be!

We did have another doctor visit on April 23rd......Christian woke up at 11:00pm with a horrible croupy cough. It scared us so much that we decided it would be best to take him to the emergency room. He had a shot of steroid and it helped clear everything up but a week later he has an eye infection. We will be going to see Dr. Lohse or an on-call doctor tomorrow to see what we should do. :(
